The trends in bionics and tissue regrowth make me wonder which one we'll get first.
Maybe if we're lucky we'll get a combination of both leading to augmentation, beyond simply healing those who are injured.
Yeah, my sense is that both will advance in parallel and each will provide certain kinds of benefits. The net effect should all be for the good.
